Home Away From Home

Happy September!

I've been away to Florida, my home away from home, for the past week and I promised my family I would not blog while I was on vacation, but I was thinking of possible posts and brought back some goodies for you--at least, I hope you like the souvenirs.

A LITTLE HISTORY
We have rented the same house for the past ten years and when we walk in, it does feel like our Florida house.  We've seen many changes in the house and some cute things added that I thought you might like to see.  If you know me at all, you know I love coastal decor and have for about ten years.  So here are some of the cuter things in the house I'd like to bring home in my suitcase--

This is one of two chairs like this that set at this reading table.  These were new this year and I loved them.  Not so crazy about the rug in the foreground.  Yes, I would love to redecorate the house, but then I redecorate everything in my head!

A side view to show the curves!  Ooh la la!

Yes, the chair is still in the background, but these little birds are so typical at the beach.  My family chastises me for feeding them because they call all of their relatives, but I love it when they gather around me.

This is one of a set of sconces in the living room.  Love them too, but, boy, do they ever get hot--found out the hard way.

We also toured an open house that I photographed like a crazy woman for you.  It will be coming in the next few days...stay tuned.

Thanks for stopping by again.  I appreciate it.
