Winter is supposed to be waning, but...I think someone forgot to tell winter to move on. With temperatures in the Midwest and beyond, cancelling schools because of
chill factors well below 0, I find myself
craving some green...
some sign of Spring somewhere!
Please just a sprig of green!
Well, okay...maybe just a bit more than a sprig but then, we've had more than just a touch of winter too!
I'm craving a green that plays well with all colors.
It just gives a bit of hope to hang on
through these wintery days.
Oh, just let me sit and imagine the sun on my face and a book in my hands on a fresh Spring day!
I imagine the sun shining like a million crystals, reflecting light everywhere!
Sunshine, glorious sunshine raining down and warming everything!

Beautiful finds. I am sorry you have had a hard winter. We typically have 25 below here in Northern cali, and not sure if global warming is to blame, but this is the warmest winter we have had in the last 7 years. Our poor lakes will be drying up. Surprisingly I am still ready for Spring. I would love for you to join our weekly linky party at Bacon Time, if you haven't already. Hope you have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I'm loving green and red this year! The bedding if fabulous and so is that bed!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Helen
Soooo glad you liked the post! It's always good to know people like it!
DeleteGreen combined with black is one of my favorite color combinations and I especially loved the bedding in your photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.
DeleteI'm with you! We don't see a lot of green in home decor.
ReplyDeleteI love green in my "neutral" decor too! Green goes with everything.
DeleteLove! Do you happen to know the name of the fabric on the shams that have the pagoda scene?
ReplyDeleteI do not know the name of that fabric, but if you call Nell Hill's in KC they will be able to help you. Let me know if you get some and how you use it! Also, you might google green pagoda fabric. Good luck!
DeleteI agree - I am so ready for green! :) At first glance at your picture on the little thumbnail, though, I thought you had put green CARPET in.....which seemed a bit extreme!!!! Glad I was wrong - love the color - just couldn't imagine green carpet forever. :) Love the greens you have - so peaceful, soothing and full of hope. Thank you for posting. Gentle Joy
ReplyDeleteReally pretty and elegant color combination. I love a "real" green...it's so fresh! Is this in NC?
