The Keys In January

I recently went to Key West, Florida to attend meetings for a national scholarship committee I sit on and thought you might enjoy, as I did, the decor of one of the hotels I joyously stayed in.  As a person who loves coastal decor, I was in my element and had my camera out the moment I walked through the registration door.  I knew you would enjoy these spaces too--they are some of the best I've seen in quite a while.  My blood pressure was going down when I walked in.

This was the wall directly by the door--could be a home, it is so beautiful!

This was one of two lamps on the registration desk--so simple yet amazing.
I am sure they thought I was a crazy woman when I started photographing the lobby--but I have an obligation to my blog!

This is definitely one of the loveliest rooms I have ever stayed in and with a balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean!

I could have died when I saw the place was done in the colors of my house but with an accent of blue--maybe my house will now have an accent of blue too!  I already have a blue chair that would help this along, and I was thinking of getting rid of it--definitely rethinking that now.

Don't worry, I was thinking of you the whole time I was away and will have more delightful decor to share soon.  As always, I thank you for reading.  Robin

    1. The floor was wood looking tile, but very effective, and it was throughout the entire room and bathroom!
