Because some readers only look at the pictures, or maybe that is just me sometimes I want to be clear, this is not my bedroom, I wish it was. This is a model home I toured and snapped these pictures to share with my blog friends. I love, LOVE, love houses (duh) and I think my readers probably love looking at them too. It is out of this mode that I share this scrumptous master bedroom in Watersound, Florida.
This headboard made me drool. The wicker inset was beautiful and the little blue velvet pillow with a belt, well, it was too cute and an idea I might have to steal.
I particularly loved the non-matching night tables--good for those of us that don't go out and buy the set off the showroom floor, but prefer the acquired (as you can afford) method of putting a room together.
In my head, this is the guys side of the bed--they don't need much space to clutter up with boy stuff! It also visually does not require much space. The matching lamps on each side of the bed tie the night stands together for me.
Of course, this bedroom had to have a bathroom worthy of recognition too. Wow, the tub has room to be freestanding and a showpiece. Love the wood panels that tie in with the cabinetry flanking the tub--no sharing a vanity here!
These vanities were just too cute and perfect for this space. The designer earned her (maybe his, but I doubt it) money.
This was the view coming into the bed space of this room--a deck for two through those doors. Wait till you look at the next picture for the view off that deck. Can you tell how much in love I am with this house? The rest of my pictures did not turn out as well, probably because of my hands shaking with the excitement of just being in this space for a few minutes! I love to walk into a house and just be unable to breath because it is taking my breath away. Are you like that sometimes too, please identify with me, if you are.
Here is that gorgeous view. Beyond it is the gulf! I thought I had died and gone to heaven just being able to tour such a property--really, just felt lucky to be in this place once in my life. Can you relate?
This WOW piece was at the entrance of this room. Look closely a the handles, the middle drawer's handles follow the white design that was a wood applique. Love the color.
I know a lot of you are getting out fall decorations and I am thinking along those same lines myself. Because I have not done it yet, I thought this house would be my offering to you for now. I hope you enjoyed the tour and now you know how absolutely crazy I am about design. I love it. Happy Fall Decorating and thanks for allowing me to rant. Till next time, Robin
