Do you remember this darling picture I had on the side of my blog, encouraging you to enter a giveaway????? Well, I WON IT!!!!!
I was out of town for a few days this week and when I got home last night, I had a wonderful brown box awaiting me! (Sorry for all of the exclamation points, but this is great stuff!!!!!)
Okay, so maybe I staged this picture just a smidge, but I am sure this is what my dear postal lady meant to do--she really is a sweetie.
This picture is for real, Debra @ Common Ground took the time to really package my gift.
Just wait until you see the other packages, yes multiple packages, inside.
Yes, I even got a personal note....oh my goodness Debra, just spoil me rotten.
Can you believe it? She was thanking me and apologizing for waiting to send my package! I was picking my jaw up off the floor (very quickly) to get into this box.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear?
A delicious bouquet of French lavender from L'Occitane--wish you could sniff it! It smells divine.
Then greedily on to the next surprise.
A boxed gift set of three L'Occitane hand cremes in fabulous scents...aaaaah! I'm already in a fit of delightedness and still, there is more!!!!!
A Jolie Marche pillow!!!!! Just google that one sometime and be prepared to shop!
A closer view of the details on this pillow--
notice how great it looks on my old leather sofa.
Yummy!
But wait, there's more...
This precious package.
Can you believe the wrapping?
I confess, I had to rewrap it to photograph it--sorry Debra, you did a much better job than my rewrap. I was so excited by this time that my heart was about to beat right out of my chest and I forgot to photograph it in its prime condition.
A gorgeous little box, tied up with satin (yes, the real deal) ribbon, AND then an organza jewelry sack too! Yes, I am one lucky woman today, but wait.....
This stunning necklace, made by Debra and available here, was in the organza sack.
J'adore ce collier!!!!! Pardon my French!
A close-up of the details on the necklace.
Will I calm down before Christmas? I doubt it. I am so happy I won and still in shock about it. I am blessed to have a new friend from my blog world and hope to pay this forward some day. Blessings to Debra from the bottom of this Kansas girl's heart. I appreciate this more than I can say!
Thanks to all of you readers too. Robin
