I Need A Little Christmas

I need a little Christmas, right this very minute....

Do you know that song?  It is very much what is on my heart right now, especially with the events of the last week...I'll stop reflecting now, but, as you all know it is hard to do.

Right now the kids are having some time alone with each other, the hubby's napping and I thought, I NEED TO BLOG ABOUT CHRISTMAS!  I need some happy right about now, so here's some pictures I've been stockpiling about this blessed sesson.

First up, a simple mantle with evergreens, bottle brush trees and candles.
Love the books elevating the trees in the middle.

Something more lush, but I love the greens with a
plaque anchoring the whole arrangement.

Too much?  Do you like the over the top look?
I am craving simple this year.

    All of the pictures are wonderful. The mantels are both stunning, however I do like the first one best with the bottlebrush trees. Perfect. Hugs, Marty
