Next week will be a flurry of activity--I am hosting Thanksgiving and putting up the church Christmas Tree--so I thought I would celebrate a little Thanksgiving with you now. I am in shock about how fast Thanksgiving came this year! Seems it just came roaring once November began. How about you, are you feeling it rushing at you too?
Anyway, here are a few of the decorations I love at this time of the year.
I bought the pilgrim couple at a craft show years ago and discovered that there were more pieces in the set and they were Indians! I have some Choctaw in my lineage and wanted that represented--I'm not sure of the tribe of these particular Indians, but I feel a kindred spirit with them, just the same.
In case I don't have time to post next week, I'm going to wish you all a very Happy and Thankful Thanksgiving. I am very thankful for you reading my blog, among my many other blessings. May your hearts overflow with gratitude and your plates be full next Thursday. Robin
