It's been a year...I've been here spilling ideas, mishaps, losses, and life on this blog. Time races by and yet, sometimes, it creeps. Thank You All for reading and being interested in what I write. Someone contacted me about doing a guest post on my blog and, as I thought about it, I didn't want anyone else writing my blog for me. I like the writing part, it's one of the reasons I started the blog. When is the last time you wrote for the enjoyment of it? Maybe you hate to write, but I like to write...sometimes it therapy for me.
Someone else asked me what I expected from my blog and that questions ran in my head for weeks. I questioned my motivation, my pride, my spirituality, my core (yes, that's what I do). I am happy for the question and came out the other side of it with the notion that for me, my blog is simply a way to teach and share ideas. I can live with that and hope it meets that expectation for you too.
What I've learned is
blogging is harder than I first thought
successful bloggers know something I don't
flash on a camera is never good if you can avoid it
how to make a blog button
some basic HTML, very basic
bloggers are a nice community of people
readers are the BEST
I LOVE comments

The most viewed post was The Entry
The most commented on post was House Tour Tuesday
featuring the guest room
One of my favorites was of Christmas
the packages were purchase, wrapped and the celebration was about to happen
Now, for a few of the pictures that didn't make the blog...
Thought about using this one for a header, but it didn't make the cut.
